Orkiestra Bałałajkowa wystąpi na Kaszubach
Muzykę białoruską na żywo – będzie można usłyszeć od 9 maja na III Festiwalu Kultury Białoruskiej na Pomorzu. Koncerty będą się odbywać do 16 maja, głównie w powiecie wejherowskim, ale też w gdańskim Centrum św. Jana i na zamku w Malborku.
– To będzie bardzo ciekawa wymiana artystyczna – mówi dyrektor GOK Natasza Sobczak.
Inicjatorem sprowadzenia do naszego regionu artystów zza wschodniej granicy jest organista z kościoła Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Bolszewie, Białorusin z pochodzenia Igor Jankowski. Organizacyjny ciężar imprezy dźwigają Gmina Wejherowo i Gminny Ośrodek Kultury w Gościcinie. W tym roku zobaczymy praktycznie nieznaną w Polsce orkiestrę bałałajkową. Uroczyste otwarcie festiwalu odbędzie się w tę sobotę w Centrum św. Jana w Gdańsku o 18:00. W programie są także koncerty m. in. w Rumi, Górze i Wejherowie. W Bolszewie, w bibliotece im. Aleksandra Labudy będzie można obejrzeć filmy dotyczące białoruskiej kultury oraz popróbować tradycyjnych potraw i napojów z Białorusi. Pobyt artystów w gminie Wejherowo zakończy finałowy koncert w bolszewskim kościele 16 maja.
