Na gdańskie szlaki wróciły tramwaje wodne
Rozpoczął się turystyczny sezon rejsowy. Na gdańskie szlaki z dniem 1 maja wróciły tramwaje wodne. Kursują na dwóch liniach o łącznej długości 45 km. Jednorazowo z tramwaju może skorzystać 40 pasażerów.
– Z roku na rok bijemy rekord frekwencji – mów rzecznik gdańskiego Zarządu Transportu Miejskiego Zygmunt Gołąb.
Tramwaje kursować będą do końca września, 3 razy w ciągu tygodnia a w weekendy ilość kursów powiększy się do czterech. Pasażerowie mają do wyboru dwie trasy. Połączenie F5 biegnie od Targu Rybnego, przez nabrzeże Zbożowe, Twierdzę Wisłoujście i Westerplatte do przystanku Nowy Port Latarnia Morska. Linia F6 pokonuje trasę od Targu Rybnego do Narodowego Centrum Żeglarstwa w Górkach Zachodnich. Od weekendu majowego tramwaje wodne pojawiły się również w rozkładach Żeglugi Gdańskiej. Można nimi podróżować z Gdańska, Sopotu oraz Gdyni na Hel. Katamarany mogą jednorazowo przewieźć 500 pasażerów i 50 rowerów.
