Kaszubi też chcą mieć swój język w smartfonach
Kaszubi chcą iść śladem Katalończyków, Szkotów i Ślązaków. Oni jako pierwsi w Europie mają swój język w smartfonach jednej z czołowych firm elektronicznych. Podobne starania rozpoczęło właśnie Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko – Pomorskie.
– Chcemy osiągnąć podobny cel – mówi Łukasz Grzędzicki prezes Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego, który już rozpoczął rozmowy z firmą Samsung.
Dzięki aktywności organizacji mniejszościowych firma Samsung zainstalowała już w swoich urządzeniach menu w językach katalońskim i szkockim, a pod koniec marca zaprezentowała również wersję śląską. W języku Ślązaków wyświetlane jest menu główne a także obsługiwane są wszystkie funkcje smartfonu. Na ten cel przetłumaczono ponad 70 tysięcy haseł i przeprowadzono wiele testów technicznych. Wprowadzanie języka śląskiego do smartfonów trwało ponad rok. Na razie nie wiadomo, kiedy miałyby się rozpocząć prace na kaszubską wersją.
