Gdyński InfoBox świecił na niebiesko dla osób z autyzmem
Na niebiesko świecił wczoraj Gdyński InfoBox – w ramach ogólnoświatowej akcji, na rzecz osób z autyzmem. Zorganizowano też konferencję na której dyskutowano, między innymi o trudnościach w diagnozowaniu tego zaburzenia rozwoju.
– Bardzo ważna dla dzieci z autyzmem jest stała symulacja poznawcza poprzez dostęp do nauki i terapii – powiedziała naszej reporterce Magdalenie Grzybowicz prezes fundacji Adapa Danuta Kłopcka.
Rodzice opowiadali o życiu z chorującym dorastającym dzieckiem oraz o alternatywnych sposobach komunikacji. Terapeuci zwracali uwagę, że gesty, spojrzenia i piski to typowy sposób porozumiewania się i widzenia świata przez osoby autystyczne. Tak samo jak hipnotyzujące kręcenie przedmiotami czy obserwacja kapiącej z kranu wody. 2 kwietnia, czyli w ustanowiony przez ONZ Światowy Dzień świadomości Autyzmu, oprócz Gdyńskiego Infoboxu podświetlono na niebiesko m.in. siedzibę Europejskiego Centrum Solidarności czy starostwa powiatowego w Wejherowie. W przyszłym tygodniu w Pucku cykl warsztatów pod hasłem „Niebiesko dla autyzmu” zapoczątkuje stowarzyszenie „Zrozumieć świat”. Spotkania zaplanowano na 9, 11, 12 i 26 kwietnia.
