AVENUE Q w Teatrze Muzycznym w Gdyni – od 31 marca
Po raz pierwszy w Polsce, tylko na scenie Teatru Muzycznego w Gdyni zaprezentowany zostanie musical AVENUE Q.
Niepoprawny politycznie, ostry, groteskowy i wykorzystujący terapeutyczną siłę przerysowanego humoru w wykonaniu aktorów i lalek, które sztywno trzymają się jednej zasady: „wszystko, co chcielibyście móc mówić na co dzień, ale wam nie wypada”.
Główny bohater uczy się trudnej sztuki wchodzenia w dorosłość w nietypowej dzielnicy. W poszukiwaniu życiowego celu pomagają mu nietuzinkowi bohaterowie, m.in. gej, który ukrywa swoją seksualność, mało rozgarnięty potwór – pasjonat internetowej pornografii; komik, którego żarty nikogo nie bawią i dobrze wychowana przedszkolanka, która marzy o założeniu własnej szkoły.
Spektakl zderza ze sobą dziecięce wyobrażenia o wspaniałej przyszłości z twardą rzeczywistością, która nie zna słowa „kompromis”. Wkraczanie w dorosłość to lekcja, która dotyczy każdego z nas. Przyjdź i zobacz jak z tym trudnym okresem radzą sobie nasi bohaterowie „przeciętni inaczej”.
