Nowa decyzja w sprawie portu lotniczego Gdynia-Kosakowo
Komisja Europejska zmienia decyzję w sprawie portu lotniczego Gdynia-Kosakowo. Obniżono kwotę, którą władze lotniska będą musiały oddać samorządom w ramach niedozwolonej pomocy publicznej.
Rok temu Komisja Europejska zakwestionowała pomoc udzieloną spółce portu lotniczego przez samorządy Gdyni i Kosakowa. Firma miała zwrócić ponad 90 mln złotych. Komisja uznała inwestycję za nieekonomiczną i zagrażającą dotychczasowemu portowi lotniczemu w Rębiechowie. Władze Gdyni zaskarżyły tę decyzję do sądu w Luksemburgu. Choć rozstrzygnięć wciąż nie ma, to Komisja Europejska w ostatnim czasie zmieniła swoją decyzję. Uznała, że port Gdynia-Kosakowo nie musi zwracać pieniędzy, które zostały przeznaczone na inwestycje związane z bezpieczeństwem, w tym na ogrodzenie lotniska, zaplecze dla straży pożarnej czy urządzenia do prześwietlania bagaży.
– To łącznie kilkanaście milionów złotych. Może nam to pomóc w dalszych rozstrzygnięciach – komentuje wiceprezydent Gdyni Katarzyna Gruszecka-Spychała.
Dodajmy, że spółka Port Lotniczy Gdynia-Kosakowo ogłosiła upadłość. Dysponuje kapitałem w wysokości 91 mln zł. Z czego 85 mln zł należy do Gdyni, a 6 mln zł do Kosakowa.
