Przypomnę, że do makabrycznych zdarzeń doszło w 2011 i 2012-tym roku w małej wsi koło Kartuz. Jak ustalili śledczy, za każdym razem dziewczyna ukrywała ciążę, a gdy przychodził czas porodu, szła do lasu, gdzie rodziła dziecko, po czym wkładała je do reklamówki i porzucała na bagnistym terenie. 19-letnia Lucyna K. przyznała się do zarzucanych jej przestępstw. Według psychiatrów była poczytalna w momencie popełnienia obu zbrodni. We wrześniu ubiegłego roku Sąd Okręgowy w Gdańsku skazał ją na 15 lat więzienia. Od tej decyzji odwołał się obrońca kobiety, a Sąd Apelacyjny w Gdańsku zastosował nadzwyczajne złagodzenie kary. Karę zmniejszono do 10 lat więzienia, bo w chwili popełnienia pierwszego zabójstwa dziecka Lucyna K. była nieletnia – miała niecałe 17 lat. Wyrok jest prawomocny.
