Rozbudowa Narodowego Centrum Żeglarstwa w Górkach Zachodnich
Pomieści więcej jachtów i będzie mogło być bazą dla regat w klasach olimpijskich – Narodowe Centrum Żeglarstwa w Górkach Zachodnich zostanie rozbudowane. Umowę w sprawie dofinansowania inwestycji podpisali: marszałek województwa pomorskiego i rektor Akademii Wychowania Fizycznego i Sportu w Gdańsku.
Rozbudowa mariny będzie kosztowała ponad 6 milionów złotych, połowę potrzebnych pieniędzy da Ministerstwo Sportu. Resztę Centrum otrzyma z unijnych funduszy w ramach Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Pomorskiego. Powstaną m.in. trzy nowe pomosty, najdłuższy będzie miał prawie 115 metrów. Marina w Gdańsku zyska 60 nowych stanowisk postojowych dla jachtów i łodzi motorowych. Po rozbudowie centrum będzie możliwość organizowania tam regat w klasach olimpijskich i międzynarodowych. Prace mają ruszyć jeszcze w ty roku i zakończyć się na jesieni w roku 2014.
