– Ma być nową atrakcją miasta, ale przede wszystkim mieszkańcom i turystom przybliżać pracę rybaka na Nordzie – wyjaśnia prezes PLGR Zbigniew Chmaruk.
We Władysławowie powstaje Centrum Edukacji Rybackiej. Będzie częścią szlaku nauki o rybołówstwie, który powstaje od Szczecina po Mazury dzięki współpracy Lokalnych Grup Rybackich. Centrum we Władysławowie buduje Północnokaszubska Lokalna Grupa Rybacka we współpracy z Urzędem Miasta – koszty pokryją unijne środki z Programu Operacyjnego Ryby na lata 2007-2013. Budynek powstaje między Domem Rybaka a portem – w pobliżu nowej muszli koncertowej. Centrum Edukacji i Promocji Północnego Szlaku Rybackiego ma kosztować półtora miliona złotych i ma powstać w lipcu przyszłego roku. Obok części wystawienniczej pomieści biura, będzie też miejsce na organizowanie spotkań i prelekcji. Podobne centra powstają na terenie trzech województw – pomorskiego, zachodniopomorskiego i mazursko – warmińskiego. Będą częścią szlaku, w który Lokalne Grupy Rybackie chcą włączyć m. in. porty i warsztaty szkutnicze.
