W Bolszewie w gminie Wejherowo otwarto nową siedzibę gminnej biblioteki – placówka przeniosła się z piwnicy gimnazjum do specjalnie wybudowanego gmachu. Budynek mieści się przy ulicy Reja, ma dwie kondygnacje – oprócz miejsca na tradycyjny księgozbiór i czytelnię przewidziano tam także salę komputerową i na przedsięwzięcia teatralne. Na uroczystym otwarciu był nasz reporter Piotr Szyca. Budowa nowej biblioteki kosztowała ponad 3 miliony zł z czego niecałe dwa miliony pokryło unijne dofinansowanie.
