– W zeszłym roku udało się zebrać 140 tysięcy złotych, to znaczące i potrzebne wsparcie, bo koszty rosną wraz z rozszerzaniem działalności – mówi dyrektor gdyńskiego hospicjum ksiądz Grzegorz Miloch.
Pół tysiąca wolontariuszy będzie przez trzy dni kwestować na rzecz hospicjum im. św. Wawrzyńca w Gdyni. Dzisiaj rusza zbiórka. Kwesta będzie prowadzona na dwóch gdyńskich cmentarzach: Witomino i przy ulicy Spokojnej oraz w Pierwoszynie i Rumi. W sobotę w samo południe na cmentarzu witomińskim do kwestujących z puszkami dołączą znani i lubiani – czyli m.in. samorządowcy z Gdyni, artyści z Teatru Muzycznego, piłkarze i rugbyści z Arki Gdynia. Zebrane środki zostaną przeznaczone na funkcjonowanie hospicjum dla dorosłych oraz dzieci. Pół tysiąca wolontariuszy na zmiany będzie zbierać datki na gdyńskie hospicjum od jutra do niedzieli – na Witominie i Spokojnej w Gdyni, w Pierwoszynie i Rumi. Zbiórkę we Wszystkich Świętych organizują też osoby wspierające hospicjum w Pucku – będą rozdawać za datki żółte i niebieskie znicze na 15 cmentarzach – od Helu, przez Władysławowo po Żelistrzewo, Szemud, Kielno i Krokowa.
