Będą kontrolować i służyć pomocą – tysiące policjantów bierze udział w akcji Znicz. Związana z dniem Wszystkich Świętych i Zaduszkami akcja potrwa do niedzieli. W województwie pomorskim bierze w niej udział tysiąc funkcjonariuszy z drogówki, wspieranych przez dwa i pół tysiąca kolegów z pionu prewencji oraz przez żandarmerię wojskową i strażników miejskich. Jak zawsze podczas tego typu akcji mundurowi będą kontrolować stan trzeźwości kierujących, sposób przewożenia dzieci, stan techniczny aut i prędkość. Policjanci apelują do kierowców o dostosowanie prędkości do warunków na drodze i zwracanie uwagi na pieszych, których – szczególnie w pobliżu cmentarzy – będzie bardzo dużo.
