PUCHAR OPTI 2014: Spodziewamy się 150 zawodników
Stu pięćdziesięciu zawodników spodziewają się w ten weekend w Gdyni na regatach „Puchar OPTI”. Zapisy potrwają jeszcze do sobotniego poranka. Zawody dla dzieci do 15 lat organizuje Klub Żeglarski OPTI, który już 14 rok z powodzeniem uczy dzieci i młodzież pływania na łódkach klasy Optymist. Do szkółki przyjmowane są już dzieci siedmioletnie, a wychowankowie zdobyli m.in. tytuł wicemistrzów Europy, zakwalifikowali się też na mistrzostwa Europy. – Z roku na rok nowych, młodych żeglarzy przybywa – w miarę jak rodzice przekonują się że ich pociechy na wodzie są bezpieczne – mówi prezes gdyńskiego klubu OPTI Arkadiusz Komorowski. Od małych żagielków zaroi się w ten weekend na redzie portu jachtowego Gdynia, jeśli wiatr pozwoli – zmagania będzie można oglądać z Bulwaru Nadmorskiego. Start w sobotę o 12:00 i w niedzielę o 10:30. Zapisać się na „Puchar OPTI” można jeszcze dzisiaj i w sobotę do 09:30.
