Podsumowali kolejny etap przygotowań do budowy atomówki
Żarnowiec czy Choczewo? Najwcześniej pod koniec przyszłego roku zostanie wskazana preferowana lokalizacja elektrowni atomowej. Spółka PGE EJ 1 podsumowała kolejny etap przygotowań do budowy atomówki, podała też według zleconych przez nią badań wśród lokalnej społeczności wzrasta poparcie dla tej inwestycji. Badania lokalizacyjne trwają od roku. W gminach Choczewo, Krokowa i Gniewino trwają badania przyrodnicze – inwentaryzacja rzadkich gatunków flory i fauny. Decyzja o tym, która lokalizacja – Żarnowiec czy Choczewo – będzie tą preferowaną, podstawową, a która rezerwową zapadnie podczas sporządzania raportu oddziaływania na środowisko, czyli najwcześniej pod koniec przyszłego roku – ocenia prezes PGE Energia Jądrowa 1 Jacek Cichosz. Ostateczna decyzja będzie znana po uzyskaniu dwóch kluczowych decyzji administracyjnych – czyli środowiskowej i lokalizacyjnej. Według zleconych przez spółkę badań poparcie dla budowy elektrowni wśród lokalnej społeczności rośnie. Największy wzrost akceptacji zanotowano wśród mieszkańców gminy Krokowa – z 56 do 71 %. Za jest też 80% mieszkańców Gniewina i 60% – Choczewa -wyjaśnia Agata Gutkowska z firmy TNS Polska, która przeprowadziła badania. Główną korzyścią płynącą z budowy elektrowni jądrowej, na którą wskazują mieszkańcy gmin lokalizacyjnych, jest tańsza energia i możliwość stworzenia nowych miejsc pracy. Stosunkowo niewielki odsetek badanych nie widzi żadnej korzyści.
