Rośnie poparcie dla budowy elektrowni jądrowej
Rośnie w Polsce poparcie dla budowy elektrowni jądrowej. Wpływ na to ma strach przed Rosją i konflikt rosyjsko-ukraiński – oceniają specjaliści. Z najnowszych badań przeprowadzonych na zlecenie Polskiego Instytutu Spraw Międzynarodowych wynika, że budowę atomówki popiera już 64% mieszkańców Polski. Największe poparcie jest w województwie lubelskim – blisko 90%, najmniejsze w zachodniopomorskim – jedynie 17%. W Polsce tempo prac nad programem energetyki jądrowej nabiera przyspieszenia. Inwestor na początku 2015 roku zapowiada ogłoszenie przetargu m. in. na dostawcę technologii, generalnego wykonawcę i partnera strategicznego projektu. Nie wiadomo jeszcze gdzie ostatecznie powstanie elektrownia. Badania lokalizacyjne wciąż trwają w Żarnowcu i Choczewie na północy Kaszub. Ostateczna decyzja ma być znana w 2016 roku.
