Rekordowy ruch na autostradzie A1. Przejechało nią w sumie 230 tysięcy pojazdów
W czasie darmowego weekendu – przejechało nią w sumie 230 tysięcy pojazdów. Najwięcej było ich w niedzielę. Mowa o odcinku z Torunia do Gdańska, na którym w lipcu w okolicach punktów poboru opłat tworzyły się ogromne korki. To skłoniło rząd do otwarcia bramek we wszystkie sierpniowe weekendy. Rekordowy do tej pory był 26 lipca, gdy A1 przejechało 68 tysięcy aut. Wynik ten został niemal pobity już piątek, gdy szlabany poszły w górę o godzinie 16:00 – autostradą nad morze pojechało wtedy prawie 65 tysięcy aut. W sobotę było ich już 82 tysiące, w niedzielę rekord został poprawiony na 83 tysiące samochodów w ciągu doby. Okazało się przy tym, że taka liczba aut nie zakorkowała dróg dojazdowych ani trójmiejskiej obwodnicy. Kolejny darmowy dla kierowców przejazd A1 już w ten czwartek – wcześniej niż poprzednio, bo 14 sierpnia zacznie się długi weekend. Bramki będą otwarte do pierwszej w nocy w poniedziałek 18 sierpnia.
