Niepewne okazy nie powinny trafić do koszyka – o ostrożność do grzybiarzy apeluje SANEPiD. Grzybów na Kaszubach coraz więcej. Choć nie mają zbyt wielu wartości odżywczych cenimy je ze względu na walory smakowe. Bardzo często zbieramy je sami, co jest dość ryzykowne – bo za bardzo ufamy swojej wiedzy. W Polsce grzybiarze nadal najczęściej trują się muchomorem sromotnikowym, myląc go z popularną kanią. Dlatego jeśli po spożyciu grzybów poczujemy się gorzej od razu powinniśmy udać się do lekarza, bo jak wyjaśnia Renata Toporek, z Powiatowego Inspektoratu Sanitarnego w Kartuzach, czas po jakim pojawiają się objawy zatrucia zależny jest od tego, jakiego grzyba zjedliśmy. Jeśli nie jesteśmy pewni co zebraliśmy, lub kupiliśmy grzyby z niesprawdzonego źródła – możemy je sprawdzić za darmo w najbliższym sanepidzie.
