Wchodzi w życie nowela ustawy o ustroju sądów powszechnych
Wracają małe sądy – minister sprawiedliwości ma pół roku na wydanie odpowiedniego rozporządzenia. Dziś wchodzi w życie nowela ustawy o ustroju sądów powszechnych, która przewiduje odwrócenie reformy Jarosława Gowina. Chodzi o 79 małych sądów, które w styczniu 2013 roku przestały być samodzielnymi jednostkami i stały się wydziałami zamiejscowymi większych sądów. Na Kaszubach zmiana ta dotknęła jednostki w Kościerzynie, Bytowie i Miastku, co spotkało się z protestami środowisk prawniczych i samorządowych. Zgodnie z wchodzącą dzisiaj w życie nowelą prawa – sądy mają być powoływane dla obszaru gmin zamieszkanych przez 50 tysięcy osób, gdzie rocznie wpływa minimum 5 tysięcy spraw. Dodatkowo sąd mógłby być także utworzony dla obszaru zamieszkanego przez mniejszą liczbę ludności, jeśli liczba wpływających rocznie spraw wynosiłaby co najmniej 5 tys. W gronie 41 małych sądów które spełniają pierwsze kryterium i będą samodzielnymi jednostkami jest Kościerzyna. Los następnych 17 sądów, w tym Miastku i Bytowie, będzie zależał od decyzji ministra sprawiedliwości. Ma on teraz pół roku na wdrożenie reorganizacji – termin upłynie 15 stycznia.
