Fotoradar w Wejherowie przedwyborczą nagonką?
Przedwyborczą nagonką nazywa prezydent Wejherowa doniesienia opozycji w sprawie fotoradaru rejestrującego wykroczenia na skrzyżowaniu ulic Orzeszkowej i Gdańskiej. Na zwołanej konferencji prasowej Krzysztof Hildebrandt odpowiadał na zarzuty radnych z Platformy Obywatelskiej, których zdaniem to właśnie władze miasta wnioskowały o montaż kamer na Orzeszkowej. – Mówienie że to jest walka o bezpieczeństwo jest oszukiwaniem mieszkańców – argumentował radny opozycji Jacek Gafka. – Włączyliśmy się w działania zarządcy drogi nr 6, jakim jest Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg i Autostrad, która wskazała niebezpieczne miejsca – odpowiedział mu prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt. Przypomnę, że słynny już system rejestrujący przejazd na czerwonym świetle przy Orzeszkowej w Wejherowie ma zostać zdemontowany. Takie zalecenie Inspekcji Transportu Drogowego wydało Ministerstwo Infrastruktury i Rozwoju – w odpowiedzi na petycję podpisaną przez kilka tysięcy osób.
