97. rocznica wkroczenia Wojsk Polskich do Kościerzyny – 29 stycznia
W niedzielę 29 stycznia obchodzić będziemy 97. rocznicę wkroczenia Wojsk Polskich do Kościerzyny w 1920 r.
Tegoroczne obchody uświetni m.in. Kompania Reprezentacyjna Wojska Polskiego wystawiona przez 16 Batalion Dowodzenia Ziemi Elbląskiej 16 Pomorskiej Dywizji Zmechanizowanej im. Króla Kazimierza Jagiellończyka w Elblągu oraz Orkiestra Garnizonowa Wojsk Lądowych w Elblągu. Jak co roku nie zabraknie również Szwadronu Kawalerii im. 2 Pułku Szwoleżerów Rokitniańskich, przedstawicieli Związku Piłsudczyków Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej oraz kościerskich stowarzyszeń i organizacji. Po raz pierwszy swoją działalność zaprezentują również członkowie Klubu Strzelecko-Kolekcjonerskiego „Skorpion” oraz Centrum Szkoleń Strzelecko-Taktycznych „Skorpion”.
Uroczystości w Kościerzynie rozpoczną się o godz. 12.30 uroczystą Mszą Święta z udziałem pocztów sztandarowych w kościele pw. Świętej Trójcy. Następnie od godz. 13.50 rozpocznie się przemarsz orkiestry, kompani reprezentacyjnej oraz szwoleżerów ulicami 31 stycznia 1920 r., 8 Marca, Rondem Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego, Długą, by około godz. 14.00 wejść na kościerski rynek. Na rynku po odśpiewaniu Hymnu Państwowego przy akompaniamencie orkiestry rozpocznie się cześć oficjalna. Zakończy ją złożenie kwiatów w miejscach pamięci. Na rynku, jak co roku będzie można skosztować wojskowej grochówki, wziąć udział w Mini Rajdzie Kaszubskim zorganizowanym przez harcerzy z Hufca ZHP Kościerzyna oraz podziwiać pokazy szwoleżerów.
