80 tysięcy zł. dla byłego burmistrza Helu za areszt
80 tys zł zadośćuczynienia otrzyma były burmistrz Helu za bezzasadny areszt. Doliczając odsetki i rekompensatę za wynagrodzenie Mirosław Wądołowski, prawomocnie uniewinniony od udziału w aferze korupcyjnej, dostanie w sumie 164 tysięcy złotych.
Wądołowski został zatrzymany w 2007 roku, zarzucano mu że za łapówkę obiecał dokonać zmian w planie zagospodarowania miasta. W tym samym czasie CBA zatrzymało ówczesną posłankę PO Beatę Sawicką. W 2012 roku skazano ją na trzy lata więzienia, Wądołowskiego zaś – na dwa lata w zawieszeniu. Rok później, po apelacji, oboje prawomocnie uniewinniono. W związku z tą sprawą Wądołowski spędził w areszcie 63 dni, domagał się 100 tysięcy zł zadośćuczynienia. Wczoraj Sąd Okręgowy w Gdańsku przyznał mu 80 tysięcy. Ustanawiając wysokość tej kwoty sąd wziął pod uwagę długość aresztowania i realia życia w areszcie, o których wnioskodawca opowiadał w ramach postępowania oraz że w tym przypadku niesłuszne tymczasowe aresztowanie dotyczyło „osoby publicznej i cieszącej się dobrą opinią”. Oprócz zadośćuczynienia sąd przyznał też Mirosławowi Wądołowskiemu 13 tys. zł jako rekompensatę za wynagrodzenie, którego nie wypłacono mu podczas pobytu w areszcie. W sumie, łącznie z odsetkami, były burmistrz Helu otrzyma 164 tys złotych.
W osobnym postępowaniu Wądołowski stara się też o odszkodowanie za pensję, którą utracił gdy po zwolnieniu z aresztu przez 13 miesięcy był zawieszony w wykonywaniu swoich obowiązków oraz zwrot kosztów za dojazdy na rozprawy.
