Trwają akcje poparcia, zbiórki pieniędzy i leków na rzecz protestujących na Ukrainie. Gdańszczanie uczcili wczoraj pamięć 26 ofiar zamieszek w Kijowie, apel o zaprzestanie konfliktu skierowali również pomorscy samorządowcy. Wieczorem przed konsulatem w Gdańsku zapłonął krzyż ze zniczy, zebrani Gdańszczanie i mieszkający w mieście Ukraińcy uczcili też minutą ciszy ofiary strarć na Majdanie. Według oficjalnych danych do tej pory zginęło 26 osób, a kilkaset jest rannych. Gdańszczanie swoją solidarność z Ukrainą wyrażą także na wiecu, zaplanowanym na czwartek przy gdańskim Placu Solidarności. .Apel do władz Ukrainy wystosowali w środę również prezydenci Gdańska, Gdyni i Sopotu oraz marszałek województwa pomorskiego, w którym odnieśli się także do idei „Solidarności” i zwrócili się do ukraińskich władz o zaprzestanie konfliktu. Dodajmy że zaplanowany na czwartek wiec w Gdańsku odbędzie się o godzinie 18:00 na placu przed Pomnikiem Poległych Stoczniowców. W trakcie wiecu zbierane będą podpisy pod apelem wsparcia dla protestujących, który następnie zostanie przesłany na ręce liderów Euromajdanu w Kijowie.
