700 interwencji w ciągu 2 ostatnich tygodni podjęli strażacy w powiecie kościerskim
Ponad 700 interwencji w ciągu 2 ostatnich tygodni podjęli strażacy w powiecie kościerskim. To prawie 80% działań, które normalnie podejmują w ciągu całego roku.
Strażacy po piątkowej nocy z 11 na 12 sierpnia pracowali przy udrażnianiu dróg i pasów energetycznych, dostarczali wodę, własnymi agregatami zasilali przepompownie i stacje hydroforowe. W pracę zaangażowanych było ponad 2 tysiące strażaków, którzy przyjechali do powiatu kościerskiego z całej Polski. – Zakończyliśmy już te najcięższe prace – mówi komendant Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Kościerzynie Tomasz Klinkosz. W pomoc po katastrofie szczególnie zaangażowane były jednostki Ochotniczych Straży Pożarnych z gmin Lipusz i Dziemiany. – To one poniosły też największe straty w sprzęcie i umundurowaniu – podkreśla Tomasz Klinkosz. Trwają zbiórki środków na naprawę sprzętu i zakup nowych mundurów dla strażaków-ochotników. Pieniądze można wpłacać na specjalne konta poszczególnych OSP.
