60 rocznicę śmierci Sędzickiego uczcili uczniowie ZSP nr 3 w Kościerzynie
Uroczystą akademią uczniowie z Zespołu Szkół Publicznych nr 3 w Kościerzynie uczcili 60 rocznicę śmierci swojego patrona Franciszka Sędzickiego. W szkole zaprezentowano też wystawę poświęconą życiu i twórczości tego poety, dziennikarza i publicysty.
Franciszek Sędzicki urodził się w w 1882 roku w Rotembarku niedaleko Kościerzyny. Pisał głównie wiersze i baśnie w języku kaszubskim. Był też działaczem społecznym i regionalnym. Od wielu lat Sędzicki jest patronem Zespołu Szkół Publicznych nr 3 w Kościerzynie. W tym roku z okazji rocznicy uczniowie wzięli udział w konkursach plastycznych oraz wiedzy o patronie szkoły.
Z okazji rocznicy Muzeum Ziemi Kościerskiej przygotowało wystawę pt. „Poeta z kaszubskiej niwy. Franciszek Sędzicki – pisarz, działacz narodowy i społeczny”. Ekspozycję można oglądać do 11 czerwca.
