55 nowych autobusów będzie jeździć po Gdyni
To największy od dwudziestu lat kontrakt w historii gdyńskiego taboru autobusowego. Podpisano umowę na zakup 55 nowych pojazdów – w tym 32 przegubowców. Mają spełniać najbardziej restrykcyjne normy spalania EURO 6, będą klimatyzowane i wyposażone w rampy ułatwiające wjazd osobom poruszającym się na wózkach.
Wyższy komfort podróży pasażerowie odczują w przyszłym roku, najpóźniej we wrześniu. Zgodnie z podpisaną umową firma MAN ma 330 dni na dostawę przedmiotu zamówienia. Wartość kontraktu to 76 mln zł brutto. 75 procent kosztów pokrywa unijne dofinansowanie w ramach Programu Operacyjnego Infrastruktura i Środowisko. Obecnie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Autobusowej w Gdyni ma 78, a Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Miejskiej 92 autobusy. Cały tabor jest niskopodłogowy, wyposażony w monitoring oraz tablice informacyjne z systemem głosowym. Gdynia modernizuje sukcesywnie też tabor trolejbusowy. W kwietniu podpisała umowę na dostarczenie wiosną przyszłego roku 30 fabrycznie nowych pojazdów.
