55 mln złotych unijnego wsparcia na budowę węzłów przesiadkowych
Tunel i bilet elektroniczny w Słupsku, a w Lęborku modernizacje ulic, ścieżki rowerowe i parkingi. Powstaną w ramach węzłów przesiadkowych, na których utworzenie miasta otrzymały unijne wsparcie. To łącznie 55 mln zł, czyli 85 procent wartości obu projektów.
– Po budowie kolei metropolitalnej czy modernizacji linii kolejowych tworzenie usprawnień w węzłach jest kolejnym elementem wzmacniającym transport publiczny na Pomorzu – mówi pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk.
W Słupsku powstanie nowy dworzec autobusowy powiązany tunelem z dworcem kolejowym i parkingami. Miasto wprowadzi też elektroniczny bilet i kupi 5 ekologicznych autobusów. Podziemne przejście wybudują także w Lęborku. Do tego zmodernizują ulice: m.in. Warszawską, Dworcową i 10 Marca, wybudują ronda, parkingi, ścieżki rowerowe. – To kompleksowa inwestycja, zarówno na rzecz mieszkańców jak i turystów – ocenia burmistrz Lęborka Witold Namyślak. Węzeł przesiadkowy w Lęborku ma powstać w ciągu dwóch lat, w Słupsku – do końca 2022 roku.
