54 tys. zł przekaże Rumia szpitalowi w Wejherowie na zakup defibrylatora. Podpisano właśnie umowę w tej sprawie.
– W sytuacji np. zatrzymania akcji serca różnica kilku sekund może być granicą między życiem a śmiercią – mówi prezes wejherowskiego szpitala, Andrzej Zieleniewski.
Nowy sprzęt uzupełni wyposażenie stacjonującej w Rumi karetki. Będzie to defibrylator z teletransmisją EKG, pozwalający na wysyłanie do szpitala szczegółowej diagnozy reanimowanego pacjenta w czasie rzeczywistym. Jak zapowiada burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny – za tą dotacją pójdą następne. Na najbliższej sesji rady miasta samorządowcy mają wygospodarować kolejne 50 tysięcy – tym razem na oddział chirurgii dziecięcej i onkologii.
