Nastolatka uratowana przez mundurowych
Nastolatkę dryfującą na desce windsurfingowej uratowali mundurowi z policji i straży granicznej – w rejonie kąpieliska w Jelitkowie.
Pełnili wspólną służbę na wodach Motławy, Martwej Wisły i Zatoki Gdańskiej. W piątkowe popołudnie zauważyli młodą osobę wzywającą pomocy. Dziewczyna znajdowała się około 600 metrów od brzegu i dryfowała na desce windsurfingowej. Była to uczestniczka mistrzostw organizowanych na wodach Sopotu. Okazało się, że nagła zmiana pogody, silny wiatr i gwałtowne opady deszczu sprawiły, że 13-latkę zniosło na wysokość Jelitkowa i nie miała już sił płynąć dalej. Z pomocą funkcjonariuszy z gdańskiej komendy miejskiej i straży granicznej bezpiecznie wróciła na brzeg.
