50 tysięcy zł trafi z Wejherowa do gminy Brusy – by pomóc przy usuwaniu skutków sierpniowej nawałnicy.
– W tej sytuacji obowiązuje nas zwykła ludzka solidarność – uzasadnia decyzję o wsparciu prezydent Wejherowa, Krzysztof Hildebrandt.
Decyzję o wsparciu wejherowscy radni podjęli na ostatniej sesji rady miasta. Pieniądze do Brus popłynęły już m.in. ze Związku Miast Polskich, Trójmiasta czy Redy, ale potrzeby wciąż są ogromne – gmina była jedną z najciężej dotkniętych przez sierpniową nawałnicę. W wyniku sierpniowej nawałnicy w gminie Brusy zniszczeniu uległo ponad tysiąc obiektów mieszkalnych i gospodarczych.
