W Gdańsku rozpoczęły się uroczystości żałobne arcybiskupa Tadeusza Gocłowskiego. Potrwają do piątku.
Trumnę z ciałem zmarłego we wtorek arcybiskupa seniora wprowadzono wczoraj po południu do bazyliki Archikatedralnej w Gdańsku Oliwie. Odprawiono dwie msze w jego intencji, w tym pod przewodnictwem Metropolity Gdańskiego Księdza Arcybiskupa Sławoja Leszka Głódzia. Dziś uroczystości rozpoczną się o 12:00 modlitwą, którą poprowadzi Gdańskie Seminarium Duchowne. Msza święta pogrzebowa w intencji zmarłego Arcybiskupa Tadeusza Gocłowskiego z udziałem Episkopatu Polski odbędzie się w piątek o godzinie 11:00. Po mszy ciało księdza arcybiskupa seniora zostanie przeniesione do Krypty Biskupów Gdańskich.
Arcybiskup Tadeusz Gocłowski zmarł we wtorek w gdańskim szpitalu po ciężkiej chorobie. Miał 84 lata, przed 24 lata był głową gdańskiego Kościoła. Jego zasług dla Kaszubów nie sposób przecenić. m.in. dał imprimatur do pierwszego kaszubskiego tłumaczenia ewangelii oraz wydał dekret umożliwiający używanie języka kaszubskiego w liturgii słowa podczas mszy.
