4 medale Mistrzostw Europy dla mieszkańców Powiatu Wejherowskiego
4 medale z Mistrzostw Europy w kickboxingu przywieźli z Macedonii zawodnicy z powiatu wejherowskiego. W zawodach największej federacji kickboxingu WAKO startowało ponad 1400 zawodników z 37 państw.
Wśród najlepszych zawodników Europy, znalazła się trójka reprezentantów Wejherowskiego Stowarzyszenia Sportowego oraz KTS-K GOSRiT Luzino: Zuzanna Kalbarczyk, Paulina Stenka oraz Filip Stark. Podopieczne Rafała Karcza zdobyły po dwa brązowe medale, Filip Stark dotarł do 1/8 finału. Cała trójka to aktualni Mistrzowie Polski, Paulina i Zuzia w dwóch formułach walki. Dla Zuzanny Kalbarczyk był to już drugi medal, zdobyty na najbardziej prestiżowych zawodach dla kadetów. Rok wcześniej wywalczyła również brąz, na Mistrzostwach Świata w Irlandii.
