32 mieszkania ma pomieścić nowy budynek komunalny w Rumi. Jest już pozwolenie na budowę, miejski samorząd wystąpił też o pożyczkę do Banku Gospodarstwa Krajowego. Będzie to pierwsza od ponad 27 lat inwestycja tego typu w Rumi.
Na razie w planach jest budowa jednego budynku. Powstanie na terenie, który ma potencjał do dalszej rozbudowy – mówi burmistrz Michał Pasieczny. Do nowego budynku mają się przeprowadzić lokatorzy mieszkań komunalnych, którzy utrzymują je w dobrym stanie i nie zalegają w płatnościach. Budynek przy skrzyżowaniu Żwirki i Wigury oraz Reja ma kosztować około 5 – 6 mln zł. Na ten cel miejski samorząd zbierał pieniądze sprzedając mieszkania komunalne przy ulicy Stoczniowców. Teraz oczekuje na odpowiedź z Banku Gospodarstwa Krajowego w sprawie udzieleniu pożyczki, która ma być umarzalna w 35 procentach.
