2016 rokiem szkolnictwa zawodowego w Powiecie Puckim
2016 rokiem szkolnictwa zawodowego – ogłosiło puckie starostwo. Sytuację w tym sektorze oświaty samorządowcy chcą poprawić m.in. poprzez nawiązanie współpracy z przedsiębiorcami i utworzenie mapy pożądanych zawodów.
Szkolnictwo zawodowe będzie jednym z najważniejszych punktów opracowywanej przez Konwent Samorządów Ziemi Puckiej strategii rozwoju na najbliższych kilkanaście lat.
– Do gospodarczego rozkwitu regionu niezbędna jest baza dobrze wykwalifikowanych fachowców, a tych brakuje jak na lekarstwo – tłumaczy pucki starosta, Jarosław Białk.
Rewitalizację szkolnictwa zawodowego starostwo chce oprzeć o dwie szkoły: Powiatowe Centrum Kształcenia Ustawicznego i Zawodowego w Pucku oraz Zespół Szkół Ponadgminazjalnych w Kłaninie. To tam miałyby się kształcić kadry w najbardziej pożądanych zawodach z branży turystycznej, mechanicznej, budowlanej, informatycznej i przetwórstwa spożywczego. Budowa specjalistycznych pracowni czy nawiązanie współpracy z lokalnymi przedsiębiorcami, z którymi już prowadzone są rozmowy to recepta samorządowców na dźwignięcie zawodówek z kryzysu i rozwój gospodarczy powiatu.
