Wojewódzki Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w Gdańsku po raz pierwszy podpisał umowę na instalację paneli fotowoltaicznych z przedsiębiorcą. Ogniwa zainstalowano na jednym z budynków usługowych w Kartuzach. W budynku znajduje się sklep spożywczy i chemiczny, poczta oraz przedszkole. Obiekt w 100% zasilany był energią elektryczną, jej koszty byłydużym obciążeniem finansowym – mówi Krzysztof Ropela
W ramach projektu położonych zostało 110 paneli polikrystalicznych, o łącznej powierzchni 187 m2. Dzięki temu możliwe będzie uzyskanie 50% zapotrzebowania na energię elektryczną, mówi Marek Zwolak, koordynator systemów fotowoltaicznych
Wybudowanie instalacji fotowoltaicznej przyczyni się do ochrony środowiska. Według obliczeń, o 28 ton rocznie zmniejszy się emisja dwutlenku węgla do atmosfery. Koszt projektu to ponad ćwierć miliona złotych. Wojewódzki Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w Gdańsku udzielił preferencyjnej pożyczki w wysokości 200 000 zł.
