Łącznie na mapie sądów rejonowych pojawi się ponownie 75 sądów, zniesionych ponad półtora roku temu decyzją ówczesnego ministra Jarosława Gowina. Wtedy to sąd w Kościerzynie stał się wydziałem zamiejscowym sądu w Kartuzach. Walkę o przywrócenie siedziby podjęli pracownicy sądu a także samorządowcy. Zgodnie z ostatnią nowelizacją sądy rejonowe będą działały na terenie jednej lub kilku gmin zamieszkałych przez co najmniej 50 tysięcy mieszkańców, jeżeli łączna liczba spraw wyniesie co najmniej pięć tysięcy rocznie. Paweł Liedtke wspólnie z kościerskimi samorządowcami chce walczyć również o przywrócenie w Kościerzynie zlikwidowanego w 2011 roku sądu pracy. W tej sprawie pisma trafiły już między innymi do pomorskich parlamentarzystów.
