14 bezdomnych osób przebywa obecnie w Wejherowie
14 bezdomnych osób przebywa obecnie w Wejherowie – ustaliła tamtejsza Straż Miejska podczas dorocznej akcji. Przeprowadzono ją w ramach programu prowadzonego od 1995 roku.
Strażnicy sprawdzili miejsca, w którym mogą przebywać osoby bezdomne – czyli przeznaczone do rozbiórki pustostany oraz wiaty, przepusty drogowe i szałasy na terenach leśnych. Z 14 bezdomnych osób przebywających w Wejherowie 6 posiada stały meldunek, ale życie na ulicy wybrali sami bądź zostali wyrzuceni z domów przez najbliższych. Czterech pochodzi z sąsiednich gmin Wejherowo i Łęczyce oraz Rumi. Wśród bezdomnych jest 69-letnia kobieta, najmłodszy ma 31 lat. Połowa posiada orzeczoną grupę inwalidzką. Jako przyczynę bezdomności podają nadużywanie alkoholu, konflikty rodzinne, niepłacenie alimentów i nie wnoszenie opłat za mieszkanie.
Żadna z tych osób nie wyraziła chęci przebywania w schronisku dla bezdomnych. Gdy temperatura na dworze spadnie poniżej zera, miejsca przebywania tych osób – jak co roku – będą monitorowane przez wejherowską Straż Miejską.
