10 nowych linii autobusowych uruchomiono w gminie Szemud
Ich głównym zadaniem będzie dowożenie dzieci do szkoły, ale będą też mogli z nich korzystać inni pasażerowie. Uczniowie na podstawie darmowych biletów sieciowych będą mogli korzystać nieodpłatnie, przez cały tydzień, ze wszystkich linii PKS Wejherowo. Inni pasażerowie będą mogli z nich korzystać po zakupieniu biletu. To wynik porozumienia zawartego z przewoźnikiem – mówi wójt Szemuda Ryszard Kalkowski – dzięki czemu gmina wywiąże się ze swojego obowiązku dowozu dzieci do szkół, a mieszkańcy zyskają nowe połączenia autobusowe. Efekty będą również zauważalne w kasie gminy. Według szacunku urzędników, gmina płacąc jedynie za bilety a nie za specjalne kursy busów i korzystając z dopłat otrzymanych przez Urząd Marszałkowski zaoszczędzi około 300u tysięcy złotych w skali roku.
