W Rewie odsłonięto nowe gwiazdy w Alei Zasłużonych Ludzi Morza
W Rewie w gminie Kosakowo odsłonięto nowe gwiazdy w Alei Zasłużonych Ludzi Morza. Od 15 lat upamiętniani są tam ludzie, których życie w szczególny sposób było związane z Bałtykiem.
– Uhonorowany został także armator z Mechelinek Augustyn Markowc – mówi wójt gminy Kosakowo Jerzy Włudzik.
W niedzielę odsłonięto tablicę poświęconą braciom – kapitanom żeglugi wielkiej. Edward Gubała był przy tym także nauczycielem i rybakiem, a Bronisław Gubała publicystą i pisarzem. Gwiazdę w Rewie od wczoraj ma też komandor porucznik i żeglarz Zbigniew Przybyszewski – jeden z obrońców Helu podczas kampanii wrześniowej, skazany na karę śmierci i rozstrzelany pod fałszywym zarzutem działalności szpiegowskiej, następnie zrehabilitowany. Wniosków o uhonorowanie w Alei Zasłużonych Ludzi Morza z roku na rok jest coraz więcej, planuje się więc zmianę zasad przyznawania tytułu. Anulowane będą wnioski, które w ciągu 5 lat nie doczekają się akceptacji.
