W Redzie zakończono budowę chodnika i ścieżki rowerowej
W Redzie zakończono budowę chodnika i ścieżki rowerowej przy ulicy Obwodowej. Powstał trzeci i ostatni odcinek. Etapami budował go miejski samorząd we współpracy z powiatem.
– Trzeba było podnieść bezpieczeństwo tego ważnego układu komunikacyjnego – mówi burmistrz Krzysztof Krzemiński.
Obwodowa jest dla kierowców alternatywą dla zatłoczonej krajowej „szóstki”. Lepsze warunki przy Obwodowej mają rowerzyści i piesi, ze ścieżki chętnie korzystają też biegacze. Jak podkreśla burmistrz – ta inwestycja miała też sprzyjać rozwojowi infrastruktury do rekreacji. Kolejnym krokiem ma być utworzenie przy Obwodowej terenu do spacerów z psami. Trzeci etap budowy ścieżki i chodnika kosztował 650 tys zł. Kosztami po połowie podzieliły się: miasto Reda i samorząd powiatu wejherowskiego.
