Swiãto Kaszëbsczi Fanë – 18 VIII
Już w najbliższą niedzielę po raz drugi na Kaszubach będziemy obchodzili święto flagi kaszubskiej. W tym roku główne obchody odbędą się w Kartuzach.
18 sierpnia to szczególna data w historii Kaszubów. Tego dnia w 1929 roku po raz pierwszy oficjalnie i publicznie wywieszono czarno złotą chorągiew. Było to w Kartuzach podczas zjazdu założycielskiego Zrzeszenia Regionalnego Kaszubów, którego pierwszym prezesem był Aleksander Majkowski. Od tego czasu flaga zdobywała coraz większą popularność. Dzisiaj nie ma Kaszuby, który nie znałby jej kolorów. Do wywieszenia flagi kaszubskiej w dniu 18 sierpnia zachęca stowarzyszenie Kaszebskô Jednota, które jest inicjatorem święta. W tym roku w obchody włączył się również samorząd Kartuz. W niedzielę przypomnimy Kaszubom, że to właśnie w Kartuzach po raz pierwszy 84 lata temu publicznie wywieszono flagę – mówi Dariusz Las z Urzędu Miejskiego w Kartuzach.
My również zachęcamy Państwa do zakupienia flagi i wywieszenia jej 18 sierpnia. Podobnie uczynią prawie wszystkie samorządy na Kaszubach.
