Muzeum w Wejherowie pozyskało cenną kolekcję druków sakralnych
Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej w Wejherowie pozyskało kolekcję prawie tysiąca druków sakralnych.
Zawiera ona m.in. śpiewniki, katechizmy i księgi liturgiczne. Najstarsze egzemplarze pochodzą z połowy XVII w. Są to zbiory nie tylko katolickie ale i protestanckie,pośród których znaleźć można druki należące m.in. do bp Konstantego Dominika, Anny Łajming, Józefa Ceynowy czy Stanisława Pestki. „Zachęcamy wszystkich -zwłaszcza badaczy naukowych – do przeglądania materiałów” – podkreśla koordynator projektu Dariusz Majkowski. Druki do niedawna były własnością prof.Józefa Borzyszkowskiego ,który gromadził je przez kilkadziesiąt lat.
Dzięki dofinansowaniu Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego oraz Powiatu Wejherowskiego muzeum zakupiło profesorskie zbiory. 150 najważniejszych druków można podziwiać na otwartej wystawie w głównej siedzibie muzeum.Pozostałe elementy dostępne są dla wszystkich w Dziale Literatury i Prasy przy ulicy Wałowej w Wejherowie.
