Budowa węzłów integracyjnych w Żukowie i Rębiechowie rozpocznie się w przyszłym roku. Gminni radni wprowadzili już poprawki w Wieloletniej Prognozie Finansowej.
Umowę na zaprojektowanie węzłów gmina podpisała dwa lata temu. W Żukowie przy dworcu powstaną parkingi i zatoczki autobusowe. Budowane mają być ścieżki rowerowe do Borkowa, Lnisk i Banina. W Rębiechowie potrzebne są dojazdy do przystanku PKM.
– Najpierw trzeba mieć pozwolenie na budowę, a procedura okazała się długotrwała – mówi burmistrz Wojciech Kankowski.
Po uzyskaniu pozwolenia gmina ogłosi przetargi na wykonanie inwestycji. Prace mają się rozpocząć w przyszłym roku. W międzyczasie gmina pozyskała dodatkowe dofinansowanie na węzeł w Żukowie, które wzrosło z niecałych 4 do blisko 6 mln zł. Dotacja na prace w Rębiechowie to prawie 12 mln zł. W sumie w ramach tzw. ZIT unijne dofinansowanie ma pokryć prawie 40 procent kosztu inwestycji szacowanej na około 45 mln zł.
