Mogą bezpłatnie korzystać z komunikacji miejskiej w Gdańsku
Uczniowie z gminy Żukowo mogą bezpłatnie korzystać z komunikacji miejskiej w Gdańsku. To kolejny po Gdyni samorząd z którym gmina nawiązała współpracę w tej sprawie. Żukowo razem z Kolbudami i Pruszczem Gdańskim zwróciło się z prośbą o wprowadzenie ulg do rady miejskiej w Gdańsku.
Przychylna decyzja zapadła pod koniec października, weszła w życie 21 listopada. Od tego dnia uczniowie z gminy Żukowo mogą bezpłatnie korzystać z linii autobusowych 126, 171 i 174. Zamiast kupować bilet wystarczy że pokażą legitymację szkolną. Z tego udogodnienia mogą korzystać uczniowie z podstawówek, szkół ponadpodstawowych, gimnazjalnych i ponadgimnazjalnych – do ukończenia 20. lat. Warunkiem jest też adres zamieszkania na terenie gminy Żukowo. Do bezpłatnych przejazdów na trzech liniach w Gdańsku uprawnione są również dzieci od 4 do 7 lat na podstawie Karty Mieszkańca Gminy Żukowo. Koszty wprowadzonych ulg pokrywane są z budżetu Gminy Żukowo. Przypomina ona, że na mocy uchwały Rady Miasta Gdynia uczniowie od czerwca mogą bezpłatnie jeździć linią Z.
