Bezpłatne szczepienia przeciw pneumokokom w powiecie kartuskim
Mieszkańcy powiatu kartuskiego, którzy ukończyli 65 rok życia mogą skorzystać z bezpłatnych szczepień przeciw pneumokokom. Szczepienie skierowane jest tylko do osób które jeszcze go nie miały oraz do osób leczonych z powodu chorób układu oddechowego z grupy J40-J47 są to m.in. przewlekły nieżyt oskrzeli czy dychawica oskrzelowa.
– Dlatego warto skorzystać z bezpłatnych szczepień – mówi Aleksandra Kuczkowska, dyrektor Wydziału Ochrony Zdrowia Starostwa Powiatowego w Kartuzach.
Pneumokoki są najczęstszą przyczyną pozaszpitalnych, bakteryjnych zakażeń układu oddechowego oraz najczęstszą przyczyną zachorowalności i umieralności w skali świata, powodując około 3,5 mln zgonów rocznie. W populacji dorosłych szczególnie narażona jest grupa osób po 65 roku życia, u których stwierdza się deficyty odporności oraz cierpiących na choroby przewlekłe. Szczepienia są wykonywane w Niepublicznym Zakładzie Opieki Zdrowotnej Nr 1 Krystyna Mach przy ul. Jeziornej 11 w Kartuzach. Rejestracja jest czynna od poniedziałku do piątku w godz. 8.00-18.00. Zarejestrować można się telefonicznie lub osobiście. W tym roku ze szczepień może skorzystać 106 osób.
