Tegoroczna edycja cieszy się sporym zainteresowaniem, głównie wśród najmłodszych – średnio w każdych zawodach startuje 150 osób. Żeglarski Puchar Kaszub to impreza cykliczna organizowana już w sześciu lokalizacjach.
– To jedyne w regionie regaty przeznaczone dla tych, którzy żeglarstwa nie uprawiają zawodowo i chcą podszkolić swoje umiejętności – podkreśla współorganizator Hanna Kajeta.
Dotychczas zawody rozegrano w Mechelinkach w gminie Kosakowo, Gowidlinie w gminie Sierakowice i Chmielnie. Kolejne regaty odbędą się: 5 i 6 sierpnia w Ostrzycach oraz 19 i 20 sierpnia w Stężycy. Puchar zakończą wyścigi 23 i 24 września na Złotej Górze. Chętni mogą dołączyć do zawodów na każdym etapie ich rozgrywania.
