Pociągi z Kościerzyny do Gdyni i Bydgoszczy nawet do 200 km/h
Jeszcze w tym roku będzie podpisana umowa na projekt elektryfikacji linii kolejowej z Kościerzyny do Bydgoszczy
– zapewniał w Kościerzynie wiceminister infrastruktury Kazimierz Smoliński. Przypomniał, że na rewitalizację dawnej magistrali węglowej Warszawa zapewniła półtora miliarda złotych. Pierwszy etap inwestycji obejmie budowę drugiego toru i elektryfikację linii z Gdyni do Kościerzyny, na którą umowa już została podpisana. Wiceminister Smoliński zapowiada również całkowitą modernizację dworców, peronów i przejść podziemnych na trasie Gdynia-Kościerzyna-Bydgoszcz. Projekt inwestycji ma być gotowy w 2019 roku. Rozpoczęcie prac planowane jest na początku 2020.
