Wysokie grzywny dla sterników po spożyciu alkoholu
Nawet niewielka ilość spożytego alkoholu u sterników statków, kajaków, pontonów czy rowerów wodnych od dzisiaj grozi wysoką grzywną. Wchodzą w życie nowe przepisy o bezpieczeństwie osób przebywających na obszarach wodnych.
Jak podają policyjne statystyki w Polsce w ubiegłym roku utonęło ponad 600 osób, spośród których ponad 150 było nietrzeźwych. Dotychczas kara grzywny groziła sternikom, jeśli zawartość alkoholu w ich organizmie przekraczała 0,5 promila. Teraz ten próg obniżono do 0,2 promila, czyli stanu „po spożyciu alkoholu”. Nowelizacja prawa ma według ustawodawcy poprawić bezpieczeństwo na wodzie, ponieważ każda ilość wypitego alkoholu „znacząco spowalnia reakcję i wypacza ostrość widzenia” – napisano w uzasadnieniu. Oprócz grzywny nietrzeźwa osoba kierująca statkiem, żaglówką bądź rowerem wodnym zapłaci również za usunięcie pojazdu z wody oraz jego przechowywanie.
