Wydają decyzje umożliwiające ubieganie się o odszkodowania
Ponad 200 decyzji umożliwiających ubieganie się o odszkodowania wydano do tej pory właścicielom lasów w powiecie kościerskim. To 25 procent osób, które czekają tam na pomoc w uprzątnięciu drzew powalonych przez sierpniową nawałnicę.
– Decyzja wydana przez starostwo jest niezbędna do ubiegania się o środki z Funduszu Leśnego, przyznawane w Agencji Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa, a także do sprzedaży drewna. Sporządzana jest na podstawie oględzin, których dokonują leśnicy w terenie – wyjaśnia starosta kościerski Alicja Żurawska.
Poszkodowani właściciele prywatnych lasów mogą uzyskać odszkodowania z ARiMR w wysokości 2 tysięcy złotych do hektara oraz wsparcie z Funduszu Leśnego – to kwoty od 4 do 6 tysięcy złotych do hektara. Sierpniowa wichura zniszczyła w powiecie kościerskim dwa i pół tysiąca hektarów lasów prywatnych, z czego połowa wymaga całkowitego odnowienia.
