Warszawa wesprze budowę hali sportowej w Kaliskach w gminie Kościerzyna. Na ten cel samorządowi udało się pozyskać prawie pół miliona złotych dotacji celowej z budżetu państwa.
– Otrzymaliśmy dobra informację o wsparciu finansowym – poinformował Grzegorz Piechowski wójt gminy Kościerzyna.
Argumentem głównym było dostosowanie kaliskiej szkoły do wymogów reformy oświaty. Dotychczasowy hall wykorzystywany do zajęć z wychowania fizycznego trzeba było przeznaczyć na dodatkowe sale lekcyjne dla siódmej i ósmej klasy podstawówki. Koszty inwestycji okazały się też wyższe od zakładanych. Po dwóch nieudanych przetargach gminie udało się wprawdzie wybrać wykonawcę zadania, ale za kwotę o pół miliona wyższą niż wcześniej przewidziano. Całkowity koszt budowy hali sportowej w Kaliskach wyniesie 2 mln 800 tysięcy złotych. Prace rozpoczęto na początku września i mają potrwać do sierpnia przyszłego roku.
