Walkuszową kuźnią pamięci – w Hopowie w gminie Somonino uczczą Jerzego Walkusza w pierwszą rocznicę jego śmierci. Dwudniowe wydarzenie rozpocznie się 17 listopada.
– By uczcić pamięć Jerzego Walkusza zapraszamy w muzyczną i artystyczną podróż do świata tradycji i wartości, tak dla niego ważnych – mówi Mariusz Mówka z Kaszubskiego Uniwersytetu Ludowego w Wieżycy.
Jerzy Walkusz tworzył instrumenty ludowe i rekwizyty obrzędowe. Od wczesnej młodości przewodził grupom kolędniczym. Przez wiele lat kierował Regionalnym Zespołem Kaszubskim „Hopowianie”. Prowadził warsztaty i pokazy rzeźby w drewnie oraz kowalstwa. W zabytkowej chacie wybudowanej przez jego dziada z serdecznością podejmował wszystkich zainteresowanych kaszubską kulturą. Wydarzenie w Hopowie w gminie Somonino rozpocznie się 17 listopada o 11:00 w kuźni Jerzego Walkusza. Następnego dnia będzie spotkanie w remizie OSP Hopowo o 15.00. Wstęp jest wolny.
